I can't believe Davey is 3 months old already. He went in today for his 2 month check (we changed insurance and I couldn't get him in until now). He was 14 lbs even and in the 65%. I think Nicolas was 14 lbs at 2 months and 95%. I think Davey will get there. He just started out 11 days early and almost a pound lighter than Nicolas. Both are big solid boys and I love it!
I got him a Bumbo the other day and he is just about ready for it. He still is a little wobbly, but he looks so grown up in it!
He likes to relax on the couch!
This is Nicolas at 3 months. You can definitely tell they are brothers!
This is the entertainment center that Matt just finished. He did an amazing job! (The bottom opening is for some speaker thing. He has some great plan for a surround sound! Why does every guy need one?)

Antonio
[these pictures were taken in 2004 during our trip to Italy]
As some of you know, my dear friend Antonio Nitto passed away this last week at the young age of 43. A few friends in Italy asked if I had any recent photos that I might be able to send or post on this blog. I met Antonio on my church mission to southern Italy where he lived in the town of Siracusa. Although I met many wonderful people on my mission, Antonio always felt like a brother to me. In fact, when I returned from my mission I sent my CTR ring back to Antonio with the inscription "Fratello Eterno" or "Eternal Brother."
During my stay in Siracusa he would oftentimes take us out for pizza or gelato when we needed a little encouragement or were feeling homesick. My fondest memories of Antonio were how he treated his friends and how he cared for his mother. His dream was always to come to America and work... hoping someday to live here permanently. Unfortunately, this dream was never realized but Antonio continued his commitment to friends and family until his passing.
For the love he showed to Heavenly Father's children and servants in the mission field, I am faithful that Antonio and our elder brother Jesus Christ, have shared a warm embrace and that we will share our lives again with him soon.

Grandma Nielsen and Ellie's B-day Celebration
The Birthday Girls!!
Ellie spent the night at the Hladek's the night before so they all wore the same dresses and same hair style. They made a big hit!
Eden (my cousin's girl) and Nicolas were singing for everyone before dinner. They were hilarious!

Nicolas goes to School!
My little boy started Preschool today! I can't believe it. He was so excited to go and had a blast. He came home and told me everyone's name and exactly what they did. He said his favorite part was eating the snack!

Last week of Summer & First Day of School!
This last month has just flown by! We have had a great and crazy summer. This last week we ended off the summer with a trip to a beach house with my whole family. We had an amazing time! I can't think of a better way to end the summer then 7 days on the beach........
These were the stairs we climbed multiple times a day with all of our beach gear!
Ellie and the girls were boogie board queens!
Nicolas has no fear of the ocean. He was out as far as the girls riding the big waves on his boogie board. Each day he got a little braver and would go out a little farther. He is amazing for a 3 1/2 year old!
